Need to know basics; for an MA, working in pediatrics?

Re: Need to know basics; for an MA, working in pediatrics?

I'm currently doing my externship at a urgent care clinic for pediatriacs. The only thing I see different is knowing the different vitals for the different ages. Being able to talk to the kids when you have to test for flu or streph. Letting them know what you are doing and trying to ease their fears. Outside of that, pretty much the norm.
