I have a question-I am thinking about becoming a medical assistant and Don't know what school to go to. The School I'm looking at says they provide either a diploma or associate of Applied Science degree. I don't know what the difference is or which one will give me a better chance of landing a job. Please Help!! Thanks.

An AAS won't necessarily get you a better position. Employers want to hire you because you have the skills and the knowledge to do what needs to be done.

The most important thing is finding an accredited school (accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES).
