I just became a Registered Medical Assistant by taking the RMA exam......Currently I am CMA, and I would like to know how often do I need to Recertify with the RMA. Also, is there anyone in the Chicago area who can give me an inside alert on employment?

It's not what I know these days, It's who I know), I have 5 yrs experience and I really need a job. (so does a lot of people)[

it would depend on who are registered thru.
if it's the American Registry of Medical Assistants, yearly. if you have your rma it with American Medical Technologists (AMT)you'll have to check with them. i could find anything on their website
