Certification

I am a certified dental assistant who also works for a physician. The physician has trained me as a medical assistant and I have been working as such for ten years. I am even the one who oversees the medical assistant students and I am the one to evaluate them for their school.

All of that said, when I inquired of that school if my practical experience would waive any course requirements, I was told "no."

Does anyone know how or where I can receive such credit for my practical experience and still obtain my certification? Can any of this be accomplished online since working two jobs leaves little time for school classes. I am in New Jersey, but I want certification that would be acceptable in all states.

Thank you.
