HELP PLEASE IM NOT sure what is appropriate to wear tomorrow!?

I will be inducted to the honor society tomorrow night, and im stuck on what to wear. On the invitation it says dress is professional?! I thought I knew what I was going to wear (a black cotton tshirt with a hole in the back and the back is blue and pinkish by the shoulders,black pants and black flats), my sister told me I should wear this blue tank top I have (it has ruching and the neckline cant thing of the name looks like this -> U has nice blue beading on it. The thing is I cant find anything to wear over it anda wasnt sure if it would be appropriate to wear alone?! I do not know what to do HELP PLEASE
