MA Externship

For those of you that have gone through a MA externship interview already....what type of questions did they ask you or did you ask them? I am preparing for my interview which is in two days.

Are You Still In School? yes

Re: MA Externship

I completed my Medical Assisting School already. I am proud to say I even completed my Externship without being kicked off!

Anyways. This advice may come too late for you. But see if the school you attend will do mock interviews in their career placement services.

Otherwise, consider contacting the local employment office and asking if they do mock interviews.

My last advice is to consider buying a computer program called resume maker professional or ultimate. They should sell it at your local office supply store for about 30-40 Dollars and I think it's a tax write off. This program offers you a virtual mock interview and PDF File Manuals for you to print out. This program should help guide you some. I would post a link, but the website won't let me.

Re: MA Externship

Thanks Chuckles the MA. Since I'm short on time, I think I just will use the resources from my school. They have over 1,000 practice interview questions and also a resume maker. Pretty cool. You can type in your answers and also listen to the video clips from professionals and normal employees.

Unfortunately, I don't know what type of medical questions they will also ask me at my drug conversions and patient scenarios that you can't really prepare for.
