CMA exam question

I'm starting to prepare for the CMA exam so that I can take it early December, right after I graduate. I have some questions.

#1) I did the practice test on the AAMA website and I scored an 80% (missed 10/50 questions). This is w/out actually studying for the test...I just wanted to see how much I know right off the top of my head. Just curious what is the lowest score you can get and still pass. Obviously, I am going to try to get 100% but there are 200 questions..so, I'm not counting on a perfect score.

#2) If I am completing my program November 30th, when do you think I should mail off my application for the CMA exam? Do I have to wait until I have completed the program to apply or just to take the test? I want to take the exam RIGHT AFTER I graduate so I can apply for jobs as a CMA.

Thanks!!
