Re: What is the difference between a CMA and RMA

I am going to school to be a CMA. What is the difference in CMA and RMA salary wise and job.
Realistically, nota****thing; the accrediting body.

Both the last clinic I worked for and the clinic I currently work at don't differentiate between them.

Your Professional Title/Credentials: CMA (AAMA)

Re: What is the difference between a CMA and RMA

none, your title depends on the company that issues the certification.

Re: What is the difference between a CMA and RMA

Well, there IS one big difference....

As a CMA through the AAMA, you are required to have continuing education (60 credits in 5 years).

As an RMA through the AMT, no continung ed is required.

That concerns me a little bit....
