Can I sit for the MA Registry Test if I have a felony conviction in my past?

I have a prior felony conviction. I disclosed that prior to signing up for a MA/Phlebotomy course in OKC. I have one week left of classtime, and already have a intern site. I overheard my instructor telling someone, she would not be able to even let them sit for the Registry Test if they had a felony conviction. Is this true? Are there any exceptions? I need help and advise. Thanks,
Angela

Hi there, It depends on what the felony was for and when it happened. You might want to talk to your instructor about your felony. Next go down to local court house and see what you have to do to get it off your record. I hope that helped.
