Is this legal?

I work for a single doctor family practice, not only dose he pay minimum wage to medical assistants and make us take a lunch on the go. (witch i know is illegal but we wont rat in fear of looseing our job)
but when he hires for medical assistants he completly ignores any resume from a guy, he just moves on to the next one after looking at the name, one time we had a Tracy apply well turned out it was a male once he figured it out he said he would call back the person for an interview and he never did. but for the most part he just never bothers with male resumes.can he get in trouble for this?

NO on both counts, if you can prove it.
as for lunch, you are suppose to get a 2-15 min. break daily and a 1/2 hr lunch break by federal labor laws.
about hiring men that would fall under job/sex discrimination.
