I was wondering if when you were done with your externship if they did an exit interview? What exactly is an exit interview? I know my school gave an evaluation form that needs to be filled out...but Im wondering what else will happen and questions that will be asked? My last day is tomorrow...its kind of scary to think about. I was told by someone at school I should hand them my resume but I have not had the time to make one. I never had to make one before or a cover letter. I have been back and forth at school to a lady in the career center but I have been back and forth a few times and still am not done. I do not think they know how to make the best resumes either! Im hoping to meet with her next week and get mostly everything done I hope.

My last day at the externship, I took in a bag of candy kisses and a thank you card. The supervisor signed my papers for the school and that was it. There really wasn't an exit interview.

Are You Working? yes

Same here! Like Jeff, the externship ended, we said our heartfelt thank yous and well wishes, my evaluation form was filled out by the office manager, and I returned back to school to get ready for the final exams and graduation. I'd imagine if there was an exit interview it would go along the lines:

a. what did you learn
b. what did you enjoy/not like
c. would you work with us if the opportunity arose.
