re: Starting out as a Medical Assistant

It all depends on where you live I think. I finished my MA program November 30th, interviewed for a position December 6th and was offered the job on December 13th. I really think I just got lucky though. For most, it takes longer I think. You just have to pound the pavement and get your resume out there. There more companies that have your resume, the greater the chance that you'll get a job. Good Luck!

re: Starting out as a Medical Assistant

I graduated July of 2010, passed the board exam December 11, 2010 and still can't get anyone to hire me to save my life! They all say I have no experience as a CMA. Well maybe thats because noone will hire me and give me the chance!
