Just wondering which method CMA'S out there or CMA'S to be plan on recertifying with?

I know that you have to re-certify every 5 years. So how many of you earn the ceu's and how many retake the exam? I think the idea of running around to places and spending money, paying at least $10 just to earn 1 ceu sounds like a pain in the butt!? Is there any way to earn free ceu's? I think I might retake the exam when I have to re-certify.

Our local chapter has educational stuff offered every meeting except Christmas time. Usually one credit at a time. Then elsewhere in the state chapters host quarterlys that have more available, and usually lunch.
