Interview next week for nursing assistant position

As of now, I have 1 interview next week. It is for a Nursing Assistant position at a hospital. While Im preparing for my interview...I have a set of possible questions written down. They came in useful in 1 of my 2 interviews so far, but I came across a problem. If they ask why I want the position, I can say I want the patient experie...nce etc..but they might think I may only be in it for the short term (which I honestly dont know if I will be). I mean I would be grateful for a job right now, even if this is not exactly what I want. Also, what if they ask where do you see yourself in a few years. I had a pretty good answer but it involved medical assisting?! Im not really sure what the job duties will be. There is some stuff I might have to think about if I would be able/ want to do. What if I dont know and they ask. Im hoping they will discuss job duties. Thanks

Hi there, First of all do you have your Nursing Assistant Certification? If you don't have it you might not get the job...because it's a different profession. You might want to go on line to check and see what a CNA does. Have a good day.

Well Im at least trying to find something for now...so thought this might benefit me in some way. This particular hospital says nursing assistant and it does not say anything about being certified like some other hospitals. I sent them my resume and they called me the next day which I heard is rare. The women at my college said that they might of called because I have a degree and it only calls for highschool diploma or GED. Hoping I might get it and that it helps me out in the long run. I heard the pay might be okay but I really have a hard time of finding out (been looking online). I know another hospital calls NA'S a different name, but they pretty much do the same thing. They lisedt the pay on their site (applied to them today) and it said 12.59 hr plus benefits I believe.
