Hi there, Yes it's possible for a man to become a Medical Assistant. I won't lie to you it's a challenging field to get into. If you a passion for wanting to help others than this is for you. You won't make lots of money, but you will learn a lot as you gain experience. I hoped that helped? Good luck in your journey.

In hind sight, skip the CPT unless that is your thing.

As Matt said, there is a considerable bias in some locations. You will be weeded out unless you have a generic name like Tracy. Some really don't want men in this profession.

Recently I took a little time off. When I came back I was told, I create a calming effect in the office and other positive comments.
