Re: Thinking About Nursing

Hi there, It depends where you go to school. If you go to one of those career colleges, you can not transfer any of your credits. If you go to a community college you will be able to transfer some of your credits. You would still have to do all your Nursing prereqs. To get more information call or visit the college you plan to go to, and take your transcripts with and talk with a career person they will be able to help you a lot more. I hope that helped. Good luck in your journey.

Re: Thinking About Nursing

I would definitely check it out, and make sure the credits transfer. I know that I only need to take 6 more classes (including clinicals) to be an lpn.

Re: Thinking About Nursing

MA's who are considering in pursuing related medical careers like nursing and medicine can use their Medical Assisting education, skills, and experience since these medical tasks are more or less inter-related and alike.
