Hello there, It depends on a few things! One check the state where live at for the scope of practice for Medical Asistants. Two It also depends 0n the clinic that you work at, and if the Doctor is willing to let you insert a indwelling foley cath. It would be under his license, and you need to be trained how to do this procedure. If you have never done this before, don't because you can do more harm than good. I hope this helped.
