Can a college student take a medical assistant class?

I am trying to become a CNA but have a few issues with getting my certification (long story) but now I recently saw a class that offers a medical assistant class and thought I might try that. I would be doing it next semester and taking 4 college classes, the medical assistant class is 2 days a week for 3 hours a day. So I could easily fit it in to my schedule. My question though does this seem like too much or could I handle it all? Medical assistant school seems easy but I want to know how demanding it is from people who know what they are doing. All help would really be great!
