Haven't worked for 3 years almost no experiece, can I still get a job?

Hi there,
well I graduated from my MA program in 2008 and was hired at my extership right away,I was employed there only 3 months and was let go . The manager said that I had left blood work overnight the very first week of employment which was a total lie ;/ but I feel is because I wasn't wanted there and at the very end of the 90 day ''probation period'' I was let go.
I haven't worked ever since but have been in school since 2008 and still attending, I am taking requirement classes for RN. I am scheduled to take the certification test for MA early next year.
My question is what are my chances that I will get hired as a medical assistant? Some places do hire non certified MA's. I am also bilingual(spanish)
If I land an interview, if I'm asked about my last job, what can I say? I was let go? Please help!

Hi there, Your chances are just as good as anyone else. I'm glad to see your moving on to be a Nurse. I would Reccomend that you go through with your Certification exam. You might get a job right away. May I suggest that you volunteer at a free clinic or at a hospital to get the experience you need and you never know you might get a job through networking. Good luck to you in your search. Merry Christmas...
