Medical Assistant starting pay in WI

I'm currently trying to decide whether to go to school for Medical Assistant. What are the pro's and con's from those of you who are currently a M.A. What is the starting pay one should expect right out of school. Is there going to be a demand for M.A.'s in the next two years. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
