I just got home from my first night school. Overwhelmed, absolutely. Excited too. We were just given an overview of what MA's do and boy do I ever so much more respect for all MA's out there. You do everything and then some.

Ha..Very true. I did not know until I became a medical assistant as well. Plus my teacher has a BA in nursing so she really pushed us to the limit and even taught us things that MAs don't do. So yes I was overwhelmed. She used to be a flight nurse too, so we had drills. For example, we had to set up for a blood draw, find the vein, and draw blood, all under 5 mins. lol

Good luck!! Just stay focused and you will definitely make it!
