ekg

I have been in MA school for now a month. I am doing great on my test and am understanding everything so far. Last night we have just started EKG work. There is so much to learn, know, digest and my question is.....How am I going to retain all this info and how often do we do ekg's in the real world? Also, our teacher is telling all of us to apply for MA jobs now,as people will hire us and train us to fit their office. Do you find this to be true? I can't imagine hiring anyone without a whole lot of experience. Just wondering.

Are You Still In School? yes

Are You Working? no

Re: ekg

I go from doing no EKGs for several weeks to, last Monday, doing several back to back. iirc, I did 4 or 5 that morning.

Re: ekg

The thing to remember about EKGs, keep the ones that circle the heart at equal spaces. Start with the 5th intercostal space and go form there.
