Business card

Question? I am having business cards made. Does CMA (AAMA) have to be on the first line? or can it be on the second line?

for example,6

name
CMA (AAMA)

name, CMA (AAMA)

Your Professional Title/Credentials: CMA (AAMA)

Are You Still In School? No

Are You Working? No

Re: Business card

I would go with Nancy Cooper, CMA

I would say that adding AAMA is probably not necessary, because CMA is ALWAYS issued by the AAMA, it is their proprietary credential, however, it certainly an option, if you prefer.

Re: Business card

I would have to agree with Danni. On my work ID, I just put Matt, NCMA.

Your Professional Title/Credentials: NCMA, (NCCT), AS

Are You Still In School? No.

Are You Working? Yes.

Re: Business card

I'm going to disagree. Having been called a Nurse a few too many times, I think the AAMA needs to be there to differentiate from a Certified Medication Aid in a nursing home. Yes, AAMA is a proprietary credential, there are too many even in the medical field who are so clueless. Having to reapply for my job recently (I've had that job for almost 2.5 years) I've realized how folks who have way more letters behind their names do not realize the value of RMA/CMAs and the accreditation of those credentials. To say they are clueless is being kind at best, and a gross understatement.
