which do employers prefer?

I would like to know if an employer would prefer their medical assistant to be certified, registered, or both.

Re: which do employers prefer?

It's the same thing. You are certified through AAMA. With AMT, your certificate states *&^%$, RMA is a " certified medical assistant" as determined by *&))*. You are certified through both accreditations. Don;t let the CMA vs RMA confuse you.
