I've b

I've been a CNA since 1985, is this course going to be easier for me?

Are You Still In School? Not 'til August

Are You Working? yep, but not as a MA

Re: I've b

ummm... I was a CNA as well before I started my MA. Some of the courses are hard, like pharmacology depending on what instructor you have. Mine is very not picky. when someone get's an answer wrong she has a stamp and it says "DEAD" on it lol. I think she's trying to teach us something!! haha
you will know some medical terms and what not, but the MA program is not a piece of cake. At least for me anyway.

Re: I've b

I also was a CNA before becoming a MA. You'll be more familiar and maybe even experienced with BPs and vitals. You'll probably know some of the more common meds. You may already know some of the abbreviations also.

CNA didn't really deal much with anatomy or terminology so that can be tough, along with pharmacology.

Flashcards will be your friend. :o)
