Will CNA experience count?

Hi. I was wondering if working as a CNA will count as experience when I go applying for MA jobs. I know it's different work but I wonder if it will help since most ads state exp required. CNA classes are only 3-4 weeks & I was thinking of doing that before my MA classes start. Then I could work part time as a cna while in MA school. I actually was a cna a long time ago, but it doesn't count anymore & I have to be recertified.

I would think that all of your experience and patient contact will help quite a bit. Good luck!
