attire for Medical Administrative Specialists

I was wondering if Medical Administrative Specialists wear scrubs to work?

Are You Working? Yes

Re: attire for Medical Administrative Specialists

It depends mostly on office policy. Interestingly, the larger group offiecs did not require their front office/admin staff to wear scrubs, however, the smaller (single physician) offices did... because there the medical assistant can, from time to time, be expected to come and help out in the back office (clinical areas)!

Remember, the versatile medical assistant is trained and expected to function as a "generalist" able to equally handle front and back office procedures.
