On line courses

I'm considering taking an online course for medical assisting. I get the classes, preceptorship, where I will learn things like taking vitals and blood draws on an actual person. Then I will have my 180 hours of externship. A good idea or not?

Re: On line courses

I think it is ok for the theroy courses. You have to be really motivated, but if you can learn form a powerpoint as well as a lecture why not? Obviously not for the clinical aspect, but A&P, pharmacology, lawðincs, why not? I am takingan online class in the fall, and I have already taken pharm online. It works out great if you have scheduling issues.
