MA TRAINING FOR MID-LIFE CAREER

At the age of 53 I'm considering going to school to become a medical assistant(Then hopefully CMA?) Any opinions about starting this type of career this late in life? Any of you out there in my age group and starting over?? Also I'm wanting to relocate from Alabama to North Carolina. The Triad area, I know has some large medical facilities. Any one familar with the job opportunties there or in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem (Triad) area? Any opinions or thoughts vastly appreciated! Thanks

Re: MA TRAINING FOR MID-LIFE CAREER

You will find that age varies greatly in this career. Don't let age be a barrier for you, best of luck!
