slow progress...

Background: Long story short, last December I lost my job. I went about looking at what career choices I might make. I settled on a retraining program at the local Community College, my choice is a degree in Medical Assisting. I have read quite a few posts in this forum in hope of gaining insight into if I am on the right course. So far I have two terms under my belt, math, writing, word processing, all background essential to the program, no meat.

I met with my faculty advisor this morning. In the Fall, September 25th, I will be finally starting the program. I have seen posts from people here who talk about fake arms that people use to train in phlebotomy on. While my faculty advisor is not the instructor for that course he has taught that class in the past. He said the practice here is that you use the fake arms for one week after that it is all on classmates. I feel more confident than I did this morning that I am on the right path. I think I have a solid plan for the next two years anyway.
