Internships and practices

I am about to complete my six month courese in medical assisting in the next three days.
So far i feel i have been doing pretty well but i am stuck on what type of intership i should take.

My question is what is it like working in all the diffrent practices that are out there and how would i know which one is for me. I know what my interest are as for as theory but what is it really like in the working world.

Re: Internships and practices

You may want to try family practice. You get quite a veriety of situations there. Pediatric, geriatirc, orthopedic, cardiac, GI, minor surgery etc... it's a great place to get your feet wet and experience a lot of different health issues.
