reasonable cost for education?

I just had an interview at a local business college yesterday for the MA program, cost 22,000 for the associate's degree. Is that the norm or too expensive? I have an interview with another college next week, so I'll compare. One more question, is it better to go to a school specifically designed for MAs, or is it better to go to a regular college. I don't want to waste my time on a lot of BS courses if I don't have to with a regular college. TIA.

Re: reasonable cost for education?

Depends on what kind of school it is. here you can get an associates at a technical college for $5-10,000. It sounds in the ballpark of the average.

Re: reasonable cost for education?

wayyyyyyyyy to much money for a ma program!!!

for $22,000 you could get a bachelors in nursing!!!!!

for $10,000 you could get an associate in nursing!!!

for $5000 you could get a lpn or ma diploma.

I would not pay more then $5000 for a ma program and that would be getting a degree. check with your local state owned technical schools for a ma program. There are a lot of questionalble schools out there ready to take advantage of you and your dreams...don't be a victim..

The degree program I am in ( at a Commuity College) is costing me about 4,000 plus books ,so aroud 5,000 total. I wouldn't pay 22,000 for a MA program!!!
