CMA in Mental Health??

Does anyone know if CMA's are employed in the mental health field, like at substance abuse rehabs, or eating disorder clinics or even on the psyciatric wards of hospitals?

In Wisconsin they have RCT's- registered care tecnicians. I believe you would need quite a bit of OTJ training for a position like that. There are alot of legal issues as well as learning proper restraints, how to run groups etc...Chapter 51 and 55 are pretty sticky.

Where I live there are 'some' CMA's in the Mental Health fields, but in LIMITED areas, as Tracy stated STICKY!!!!!
