Fast Eddie Leads Protest To Keep Bones Hidden

There were many new faces at the Turtle Bay protest yesterday. I have to compliment Keep The North Shore Country in bringing in the `Ilio`ulaokalani Coalition to help them drive up attendance. At their last KTNSC protest

they could barely bring enough people together to have a basketball game. Not yesterday, they could have suited up two full football teams with subs. All that aside, I was most impressed with the appearance of the nice folks from Da *** Company.

I've been getting a bit tired of seeing Gil "I Protest Everything" R., Karen "I Am A Poor Exploited White Woman From California" G., Jeanne "I Work At Turtle Bay, Therefore I Protest Everything About Turtle Bay" M., Mark "I Need Rescue" C. et al.

Great idea to bring in some people with real muscle and passion.

Fast Eddy and Kala A. bring something new to the party. If they asked me to do anything, I would most likely say yes in a heartbeat. Eddie in particular can be quite persuasive when wants to convince someone to come over to his point of view. He also has extensive real estate holdings on the North Shore and experience with development. He should be quite an asset for the cause. Gil and Eddie must go way back. In an interview on Da Hui's website, Eddie even mentions the Let's Surf Coalition (Gil is the President) Below is the link to the story.

I also noticed that in all her interviews Vicky Holt Takamine mentioned the dunes of Kahuku Point as being a particularly sensitive area and that land most likely contains ancient remains.

NEWS FLASH - Kuilima Resort Company agrees with Vicky and so do the people who set up the Unilateral Agreement. That is why the area Vicky is worried about is designated to be a 37 acre park.

Perhaps the information of the Kahuku Point Park being planned along with the addition of the new "blood" at the protests might add up to some progress and mutual agreements.

We can only hope.
