Just back from Welch. Photos of the Riverwalk will hopefully be posted soon. Linkous Park now has, in addition to the pool, a miniature golf course, horseshoes, beach volleyball and of course, tennis. A big change from when I was a kid, and they had a sandlot ballfield, a couple of swings and a merry go round. Access was by a suspension bridge from Summers Street. There is a private museum in Welch, but the city is planning a museum to be located in one of the buildings on Wyoming St. near the Baptist Church. More on this later.
