My name is Marsha Rhodes and I am currently the president of the Mount View High School Project Graduation Committee, Class of 2010. Mr. Jim Redmond is the advisor/coordinator for the project that is held every year following commencement cermonies at the school. This will be the 20th consecutive year for Project Graduation at the school. We have met recently to discuss ways to raise money for this great project. If you are not familiar with Project Graduation, it is an event to promote a safe and drug-free alternative for graduation celebrations. All seniors and their guests are "locked-in" for the entire night full of fun, food and prizes.
We have set a goal of $15,000 to cover all expenses. We provide food, games, prizes and gifts for the entire senior class. This year we have 94 seniors slated to graduate on May 28, 2010. We have to begin early in the year to make this massive event become a reality. We have already scheduled several fundraising events over the next few months, but support from the community is necessary for us to reach our goal to make this event successful for all of the participants.

We hope this letter finds everyone well. MVHS continues to promote its Project Graduation Program. It's a drug-free gathering after graduation and it's been a great success in all of its previous years.
