Was thinkin' the other day...45th anniversary of high school graduation this year! Hardly seems possible.
We are having our first wintry snowfall today and it is beautiful here. It seems when I was a child that old man winter arrived around Thanksgiving and took his spot in the mountains and stayed until March...We looked forward to the snow because it provided so much fun. I still remember the taste of the sweet creamy, vanilla, snow ice cream we made.
On December 19th, we are having open house from 12 to 4:30 and should any of you venture down this way for Christmas shopping at the New River Valley Mall or in Roanoke, please feel free to stop in and say hi and have a bite to eat. Gonna make some tasty items.
We are not far off the beaten path, and very easy to find.
