Robert Dean Farris Robert Dean Farris, 78, of Tallahassee, passed away Weds., Feb. 17, 2010, at his residence. Born Nov. 22, 1931, in Canebrake, W.Va., he was a son of the late John William and Alma Virginia Jones Farris. He served in the US Air Force, worked in auto parts and was a member of the Timberlane Road Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Sue Waldron Farris, Tallahassee; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Dean and Wilma K. Farris, Tallahassee, R. Scott Farris, Jacksonville; daughters, Kim R. Farris, Tallahassee, Deborah Sue Smith, Crawfordville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Wilma K. Farris. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Bertha Farris. The funeral is 2:00 PM EST, Fri., Feb. 19, 2010, at Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home (850-562-1518), with interment following at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
