Visit with the Gary Coaldiggers at Skidoos in Fairfax, VA 5/15/2010
Gary Coaldiggers who currently reside in (or are passing thru, etc.) the northern Virginia area get together every year at a place called Skidoos located in Fairfax, VA. Some of us Maroon Wave folks have attended these gatherings and encourage others to do the same if you are in the area.
Here's the latest update on this event:
Just a note to remind everyone about the local 2010 gathering on Saturday, May 15th at 2:00 - - room is ours at 1:30
Hope you can be there for a fun time of catching up. Again, please bring along pictures or any 'memories'
to share with others as we play a new round of 'remember when.'
We're looking forward to seeing you there! Just enter the door and our group will be on the immediate
left hand side. We hope to again be joined by friends from Welch High School, Northfork High School,
Big Creek High School and other McDowell friends.
Several of us plan to stay and have dinner again this year and watch the Preakness. Last year, Skidoos rearranged 'our room' and set up a nice long table and chairs for all of us in front of the TV to watch
the race.
Skidoos has a great menu, delicious food and very reasonable prices. Your only cost for the day will be the food, soda or drinks that you consume.

Please let me know of any get togethers for Gary or Welch people. I graduated in 1953 from Welch. Went to 50th and 55 reunions at Pipestem.
