my class wants to find out the Walls when the were at WHS
my class are reading "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls and we think it would be neat to read some of the stuff she did when she was there or if you could tell us what she was like we would very much like that.

I'm not sure which years the different members of Jeanette's family attended WHS but Jeanette, the author of "Glass Castle", was in school with my sisters who graduated with the WHS class of 1978.
I understand the book is the only memoir in history to be featured on the New York Times bestseller list for over 250 weeks. It is not about Welch/WHS in particular but tells Jeanette Walls' story of her "dysfunctional but vibrant" family. And she tells the story so very well.
