According to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph, parts of Welch still have power. The paper also reported roofs being blown off some buildings there. Can anyone provide details?

To all our WHS friends in the areas affected by the wind storms, how are you doing?

I spend the summers in Welch on Stewart St. WE were really lucky, lost the internet for a few days but did not lose power. Goodson's was closed 2 days because of power outage. Lots of people in surrounding areas were without electric for a few days. Winds were really high in Mohegan, lots of lightening, hail. Hope the storms are over, and the 100 degree temps.

Just got my internet back today. I was without power for only 2 days and they were broken up with a day in between with power. Could have been a lot worse for me, so I am very thankful.
