Welch vs. Gary "Barrel Bowl" charity golf tournament July 17, 2015
Remember the great Veterans Day football games for the barrel? Starting in July 2015, the competition is back!
On Friday July 17th, 2015 we are having a Welch vs. Gary "Barrel Bowl" charity golf tournament at the Princeton Elks Golf course. The winning school will be awarded honorary bragging rights to the barrel for one year.
All proceeds to a McDowell County charity. It is our intention to make this the largest single charity golf event for McDowell County. In anticipation of a great turnout, we have made arrangements to reserve the entire course for the entire day. We have morning Tee times for our local players and afternoon Tee times for those traveling back to the area.
We will also have a noon lunch social event at the course for all those golfers and non-golfers alike (and family). Hamburgers and Hotdogs provided FREE to all.
