An open meeting was held Friday, Feb. 6 th at the Sterling in Welch to plan the Welch High 70’s Reunion.

The weekend will kick off with the Barrel Bowl on Friday, July 17. Details for this can be found on the

Barrel Bowl or from Sam Baker on Facebook. The Sat., July 18th event will be held at the Quality Inn in

Bluefield , WV. Social hour -4-6pm, Dinner 6:30-8pm, Dance (with DJ) 8pm-1am. A cash bar will be open

throughout the event.

Cost for the evening is as follows:

Early registration - Postmark by 3/15, 2015 --- $35.00 individual, 70 couple

Regular registration –Postmark between 3/16 and 5/1/2015----$40.00 individual, 75-couple

Late registration – Postmark between 5/2 and 7/1/2015---$45.00 individual, 80-couple

Teachers (and 1 guest) who were teaching in the 70’s at WHS--- $25.00

Maple Ave, Welch, WV 24801. Registrations are NON-REFUNDABLE.

A block of 50 rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate of $90.00 per room per night. Please call

the Quality Inn directly to reserve, and make sure they know you are with the WHS 70’s Reunion. The
