Song in "Rest in Peace, Mrs. Columbo"

Hello, I'm from Spain, and my english is not good. Can anyone tell me the tittle and artist of the song that we can hear for a while when Vivian Dimitri is crying at home and the phone rings (Leland St. John calls her)? Thanks!

It's "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." It's a cover of a Hank Williams song. As for who is performing it, that's long been a question without a good answer. There is a recording of that song by an artist called Cowboy Junkies that is extremely similar to what Vivian Dmitry is listening to.
