In an early scene of Dead Weight the camera pans around the general's room and there is a large portrait of the general - Eddie Albert - hanging on the wall. Would be interesting to know if that was specially commissioned and what happened to it? Always thought Eddie was a strong character actor - he was very good in an old B/W film called Attack! He was an army captain in charge of a platoon of men, ordered to take a small village from the Germans. I won't spoil the ending if you haven't seen the film, but it's very powerful and Eddie gets what he deserves.
