LAST SALUTE FOR THE COMMODORE

I know there's a lot of negative feeling about this episode, but I have a question that isn't really about that. My question is, did anyone pick a murderer when they first saw it, and if so, who was it?

Re: LAST SALUTE FOR THE COMMODORE

Yes, Charles. I still don't fully understand the episode . I just know it was strange compared to the formula we're used to in most episodes.

Re: LAST SALUTE FOR THE COMMODORE

There's one way I think the story wants you to suspect Wayne Taylor more than anyone else, because the Commodore tells everyone that Taylor is the only person he really trusts. I'm pretty sure that's a big tradition in murder mysteries, the most trusted person being the killer.

Starring Lt Columbo as Mojo Jr

Re: LAST SALUTE FOR THE COMMODORE

To be honest, this is one of my favorite episodes. I love the playfulness between Robert Vaughn and Columbo in all Robert's roles. You see it in Troubled Waters also. And you have to love the rivalry between Mac and Bruce Kirby aka Sgt Kramer both vying for the acceptance from Columbo.
