Solving the Murders

I have noticed that I have had to watch some of the shows several times to figure out how Columbo solves the crime. For example, I had to watch "Negative Reaction," many times until I figured out that he put the camera in the guy's room then took it out, and then put it back and that is how Columbo figured out he did the murder. When Dick Van **** went for the camera. I also had to watch many times, "By the Dawn's Early Light," to understand the cider incident. I'm still trying to figure out the "Bye-Bye Sky-High Murder Case. That episode is very confusing. Anyone have other examples?
