There's one line I don't understand. After telling the vet how missed his bowling game because of the call he got the first time Dudek went missing, Columbo says he later found out that Dudek HIMSELF went bowling. Actually he calls him "the gentleman," but he also calls him a "foreign chess champion," so it's Dudek. Are you supposed to think that bowling was Dudek's alibi to Berozski for being in the restaurant? It doesn't make a lot of sense.
