Camera Columbo used in London

In the episode "Columbo" Dagger of the Mind (1972) the camera Columbo used (the one he borrowed from his brother-in-law) looks like an ARGUS C series made in USA.

Re: Camera Columbo used in London

Yes, definitely! My parents had one of those, I learned to use it when I was taking and developing photos in high school, and I may still have it around somewhere. Known affectionately to its fans as "The Brick" (a pretty good description of its size, shape and weight), the Argus C3 was very popular in its day but definitely of a certain era, and it fit Columbo's personality nicely -- a quaint but reliable old classic, sturdy and it got the job done.
