Re: Wasn’t there an episode where Colombo let the killer go free?

In “It’s All In The Game”, Columbo possibly should have let both mother and daughter go free. He allowed the mother to take blame in exchange for allowing the daughter a chance to skip town. But considering how abusive the victim was alleged to have been, and the predicament of the mother, perhaps both mother and daughter deserved leniency.

I always felt bad for Faye Dunaway and that she did what any good mother would do.
